Overall, it was a good experience. Hotel Manager Ajay was helpful. Room was a bit small but clean. Location is also good. It is just that there was no power between 10 PM and 8 AM IST next morning. Other than that, everything was good. I would like to stay there again especially during winters.

I had heard good things about this place and this company but to my surprise, none of it stood true. The staff to start with is rude and doesn’t understand what hospitality really means. The rooms are decent but then with no electricity in sub zero degree temperatures, what good is any room. The whole town was running on generators but these people after charging around 5k a room, were saving money by not running genset. They had full occupancy and yet they didn’t budge. The cafeteria has been shut for over a year now and there’s no news of that. So if you want to eat something, you will have to step outside of the hotel to get some food or tea or anything. Again, the staff, rude and untrained. Managers, don’t understand a thing about management. Sitting there in heaters when the whole building doesn’t have access to electricity. Skip this property for sure. It’s dead.

Location is good. Parking is an issue. In this price they have mentioned that there will be no room service and no cafe/food or beverages are provided. Private room is not worth it. There is no dental kit available with them. The towels provided were not clean and just the ones which were used by the earlier guests post half drying them in the balcony. Rooms were okayish in terms of cleaning. All in all the experience was not worth it. Hope management now understands the concern behind the low rating. Hence, I am not deleting the review instead shared a detailed one. The manager Ajay is accommodating and helpful.

Hosteller Shoja is one of the best hostels in shoja valley . Food options are near by the Hosteller. Tracking area also near the hostel. Shoja waterfall is so amazing. Stay was comfortable and cool. Staff is fully helpful. Network and power will fluctuated but it will manageable on yourself.Fully cleaned hostel.
